Lowry’s was first established in 1982 as Lowry Livestock Feeds. Scott Lowry began the feed and trucking company, which would become a family business when his wife Amy joined him in 1986. In recent years, two of their three children, Josh and Sara, also joined the company.

Lowry’s started as a distributor for livestock feeds based in Harmony, NC. Through the trucking service, the Lowry family ships feed throughout many states. While maintaining the primary livestock and trucking business, the Lowry’s added a gardening center and small, live animals to the store.

The Lowry family decided to expand their product lines and build a new store in 2020 as they plan for even more years of serving their community. The new store will offer the familiar products customers have depended on them to carry for years along with new products including hardware, clothing, and more.

One thing remains true to the Lowry’s store, the Lowry family is passionate about customer service and the quality of their products. The family is proud to meet the needs of local farmers and now offer even more products with the same level of customer service.
